How do I apply?

All applications must be submitted online through our online partner application. Partner applications will not be accepted via email, US mail or in person.

Where can I access the partner portal?

Is there a standard format for applications?

Yes. Our application is online.

First, the potential partner will need to email info@j-adc.org – please include:

  • Name of Organization
  • Organization Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Name of Authorized Agent
  • Direct Phone Number
  • Email Address

What happens after I submit a partner application?

We consider receipt of your application the beginning of a relationship. Once your application is complete and addresses a priority within our program, it will be assigned to a team member for review. A team member will speak with you further and may request a meeting. In the course of the application review, applicants are also requested to share with a member of our team any new information that may significantly affect the proposed project.

Each application process varies on the scope of the request.

What is the review process?

The review process is comprised of two stages: the on-site assessment followed by a full proposal if invited. Partner proposals are carefully reviewed by Advisory Committee and then ultimately approved or declined by the Board of Directors.

Would the foundation consider multi-year funding?

Not at this time.

If an organization doesn’t have a previous funding relationship with the foundation, will their application be considered only after all current and past partners are considered?

Yes, organizations new to the foundation are highly encouraged to submit an application.

How will my organization know if its application has been approved?

A member of our team will contact you after a decision is made.

What can I expect after my organization’s application has been approved?

We will email you an award letter and a “Partner Terms, Conditions and Understandings” agreement. This outlines the funding and reporting schedule as well as other pertinent details and requirements.

How often does the Foundation meet to award a partner applications?

The Advisory Committee meets four times a year to review partner applications.

The person who submitted our partner documents is no longer with our organization. How can I gain access to his/her online account?

To gain access to past partner applications and other documents in your partner’s portal, please contact a team member who can manage your organization account and delegate access.

What will the Foundation not support?

The Foundation does not make grants to support operating deficits, or endowments. Finally, the Foundation does not support initiatives that are in conflict with its values.
